Breast Cancer Clinic

Dr Sujata Vasani will be launching her Breast Cancer Clinic from April 1st, 2023, at her clinic, every Monday from 2 to 4 pm.

This clinic will specialize in providing breast cancer patients with state-of-the-art treatment for their cancer. It will also provide effective therapy for the side-effects they may experience during their treatment. Nutritional counselling, assistance and guidance in continuing with daily life, along with genetic counselling will be provided.

A detailed and customized treatment plan will be drawn up for each patient , along with an explanation and description of the therapy that will be given for the cancer care.

Following treatment completion, a comprehensive follow up plan will be drawn up and provided, to ensure close monitoring for each individual patient, to avoid a cancer recurrence.

Simultaneously, family members, especially those at risk, will be provided with genetic counselling to ensure they remain protected from cancer.

Women interested in beginning breast cancer screening will be provided counselling and guidance along with a customised screening programme. Breast cancer screening post 40 years of age is encouraged for all women. It is an effective method of protecting against breast cancer.

Ovarian and Uterine Cancer Clinic

Dr Sujata Vasani will be launching the Gynaecologic Clinic for Ovarian and Uterine Cancer from 1st April, 2023, every Thursday from 2pm to 4pm.

This clinic will provide specialized care for all women with Ovarian Cancer and Uterine Cancer. A customized treatment plan will be drawn up and executed for each patient.

Detailed explanations will be provided with reference to the chemotherapy and targeted therapy required during treatment.

Nutritional and genetic counselling will be provided for each patient along with supportive care during treatment.

Counselling for family members at risk along with genetic counselling will be provided.
Screening guidelines for ovarian and uterine cancer for all women will be provided.

Following treatment completion, a comprehensive follow up plan will be drawn up and executed to ensure adequate monitoring of the patient, to protect against a cancer recurrence.

Lectures and Teaching Sessions

Dr Sujata Vasani has been giving regular lectures for physicians at the Indian Medical Association’s annual conference and the yearly conference of the General Practitioner’s Association.

These lectures were initiated in 2013 and remained an annual affair upto 2020, when the pandemic disrupted life and created havoc. The lectures played a crucial role in providing updates to family physicians regarding the latest developments in cancer treatment.

Dr Sujata will be restarting these lectures from April 2023.

Regular teaching sessions were also held by Dr Sujata at Bhatia Hospital for family physicians. Again, these were interrupted during the pandemic. They will be restarted from May 2023.

Dr Sujata Vasani has given multiple talks on Cancer Awareness to the Rotary, the Reliance Industry and various corporates. These proved beneficial in raising awareness regarding cancer screening and early cancer detection.

These will be restarted from April 2023.

Ovarian Cancer

Ovarian cancer is often treated with a combination of surgery, chemotherapy, and other treatments.

Lung Cancer

Lung cancer treatment plans may include surgery, chemotherapy, radiation therapy, targeted therapy, immunotherapy, or clinical trials.

Blood Cancer

Treatment for blood cancers such as leukemia, lymphoma, and myeloma often involves chemotherapy, radiation therapy, and/or targeted therapies.
